Keel Laying Milestone for Self-Propelling Work Jack

Zhoushan — 18th August 2015, the keel of the first liftboat that is to be constructed in PaxOcean Zhoushan was laid. The keel laying ceremony for BH001, a Self-Propelling Work Jack was held to mark this important milestone.

The event was graced by General Manager of vessel owner Baoham Offshore (UK) Limited, Mr Xu Jun, representatives from American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), potential charterers and banks. Guests of honour were invited to kick off the keel laying ceremony by lowering the main block of the vessel down into the central dock of the yard. After which, they were invited to take a short tour around the central dock and slipway of BH001.

Hull BH001 is expected to be delivered by December 2016.
