PaxOcean Engineering Pte. Ltd. and PT. Haruma Bangun Persada have signed the new building contracts to construct one 100MW and one 140MW gas turbine combined cycle floating power plant.
The two floating power plants will be constructed at one of PaxOcean Batam yards and is expected to be completed in 2019. The two floating power plants will be designed by PaxOcean with Siemens providing the gas turbine combined cycle power blocks and engineering support. PT Teknika Solusi Dinamika (PT TSD) was appointed as PMT for the two floating power plants which will be deployed in Indonesia to enhance the electricity infrastructure with high efficiency.
Drs. HM. Jusuf Muhadji, President Director of PT. Haruma Bangun Persada highlighted that the two floating power plants were awarded to PaxOcean as he has full trust on the competency, capability and track record of the Group. Mr. Tan Thai Yong, Chief Executive Officer of PaxOcean expressed his confidence to deliver these two floating power plants on schedule with the highest commitments towards safety and quality.
Drs. HM. Jusuf Muhadji and Mr. Tan Thai Yong signed the two contracts in Singapore on 12th July 2017.
